Join the Lab

Bring a product. We'll show you the research. Bring research. We'll show you the product.

Most projects only have one. Polarity Lab builds the other.

Three ways to show up.

Path 01

Bring a Project

You have something real, a product, a research program, or both, that belongs in this lab. You want infrastructure, IP protection, legal support, a network, and a model that pays you without giving away permanent equity.

  • Research with a product path, or a product that needs a research layer
  • An MVP or working prototype. The lab strengthens projects, it doesn't build them from scratch.
  • A named domain lead who will run it
  • No geographic constraint
  • Legal and IP infrastructure
  • Cross-project collaboration — your project benefits from every other project in the lab
  • The disbursement model: 15% to lab, you keep the leading majority of what you build
  • Network and institutional relationships

Short written application. Include a one-line description, what it studies and how it connects to the lab's central question, a link to your MVP, and what you need from the lab. Email to team@polarity-lab.com with subject "Project Application: [Project Name]".

Path 02

Join a Project

You want to work on problems that actually matter, with a team that takes the work seriously. Open roles are listed on each project page. Reach out directly or apply through the project.

Contribution is weighted by your involvement level and reviewed quarterly. Disbursement starts after each project hits its 3–6 month runway threshold.

Path 03

Back a Project

You believe in something before it's obvious. Gift-tier backing ($10–$999) earns perks: founding credits, physical artifacts from the work. For deeper financial involvement, reach out to the team directly.

  • $10–$99 — Founding credit on the project
  • $100–$499 — Founding credit plus physical artifact from the work
  • $500–$999 — Above plus early access to project outputs
  • $1,000+ — Reach out directly to discuss

For deeper financial involvement or institutional backing, email team@polarity-lab.com directly.

You already know which of these is you.

The first step is the same for all three. Send an email. We'll take it from there.
